A completely updated and revised set of model documents for traditional neighborhood development is now available.

The documents are licensed to the developer's attorney for use in a particular project and include detailed explanatory information to help the attorney customize the materials to the jurisdiction and to the project. The package is intended to allow any attorney with general real estate experience to get up to speed quickly with a New Urbanist community. Telephone consultation and support are also included in the licensing fee.

The package is intended to provide the various documents needed by a Traditional Neighborhood Development developer, including a declaration for residential or mixed-use properties, a town center declaration, deed forms with special notice provisions, sales materials, information on operating the association and architectural review process materials. The documents are annotated with extensive commentary, explaining the purpose of the various provisions and how they might be modified for a particular community. All documents are written in plain English and are intended to be user friendly.
